The Month of March Recap

I went home for Spring Break and it was RECKLESS to say the least. I lost both pairs of my new earrings, I broke the heel of my new shoes, I got my boobs sucked in a club (and outside), I made out in front of my family, I spent the night with my ex girlfriend (nothing happened except in my mind), I saw a chick squirt in person and I barely slept! I did spend a lot of quality time with my little cousins and my nieces. We got our nails done, went to Chuckie Cheese, and went to church. I love those little girls to pieces. I gave my youngest cousin Layla (age four) a necklace that my ex gave to me. I was going to pawn it for the couple hundred he paid for it but she wanted a necklace and luckily I wanted to no longer possess that one. The charm read "I <3 U" and she loved it. I know she will probably lose it if she hasn't already but to see her smile light up and wear it everyday melted my heart.

I mentioned seeing my ex girlfriend. Well I went to visit my mentors from undergrad and that night I hung out with her and her friends. Just like old times (for me at least) that lingering "I don't want the night to end" feeling was there and I stayed the night in her room. We talk often now and I like it, I feel like we are both at place where we could be friends again like we always said. The next day I left Mount Pleasant and went to Western to visit my boo Quinetta for a few hours. She took Abu and I out for an late lunch/early dinner! We cackled and then departed back to Detroit so that I could make it to my auntie's Pure Romance party. The party was cool but the strippers who came after were super low budget and might I say reckless. They were in a room full of Lesbian and Bi women and they truly started to fuck one another. There was like maybe 5 minutes of stripping and the rest was a real life low budget porno smh. The finale was of this one chick making herself squirt...very interesting first time experience with strippers for me.

Then I came home and it was back to my boring life as a student, Child Behavior Specialist, Public Service Intern, and Project Manager of a research project. Back to the books and my kiddos (at work). I look forward to what April and the rest of the year brings :).
